J.V.H. Class of 2022 Valedictorians

Introducing our Class  of 2022 Valedictorians (L to R):

My name is Tatum Hearne and I am very grateful and excited to be one of this year’s valedictorians. I have attended J.V. Humphries School for the past eight years, and have learned so much about myself. I have made friends close enough to call family at this school, and I’m nervously looking forward to my bittersweet journey post-secondary. I plan to move to Kamloops and attend Thomson Rivers University to study psychology and not only grow as a person myself, but learn more about others to help them grow too.

My name is Kaitlynn Mortensen, and I am one of two elected valedictorians from JVH, for the Grad class of 2022. My primary hobbies include creative writing, poetry, and art. In relation to my future, I plan on spending a gap year in Kaslo to save money. After which I’ll be pursuing a degree in psychology. My dream is to make a career performing psychological assessments, as well as specializing in different forms of neurological diversities. I’m ecstatic to move forwards with my life, and experience the opportunities that the future (and a bigger city) will have to offer me.
