Successful Celebration of Learning

Multiple events are going on at our school this time of year, starting with a celebration of learning experiences throughout the past school year that took place on May 17.

For our K-7 students, we hosted a school-wide event including a science fair in the gym, and an art display in the library. This student-organized event was several weeks in the preparation stages, and we were pleased to host Jewett Elementary students who also prepared projects and joined the fair.

Parents attended in the afternoon, and there was great excitement in the school for this important event.

All three shows of the JVH Drama Production were sold out! Every student in the Drama Exploratory class was in the cast, production crew or stage crew for the performance.

Annual Holiday Hamper Fundraiser

This year JVH held a fundraiser from Monday to Friday, December 5th to the 16th. Senior students scheduled themselves for 60-minute shifts outside the Front Street Market. Thirty-eight shifts (!!) of dedicated students volunteered during their busy school day and made up the work they missed from class, raising in excess of $3800!

Great work JVH student volunteers!
