This year, JVH held our fundraiser December 4th through 15th outside the Front Street Market. We had great participation from our students, staff, families and community.

In 2022, the community generously donated over $3600. This year looks like a great year as well - watch for a final count of this year's fundraising to be announced in the new year!

For the past 21 years, JVH has been holding the Annual Holiday Hamper fundraiser to collect money and grocery items, which are used to create at least 60 Christmas Hampers. These hampers go out to families and individuals in need in our area, from Howser to Ainsworth.

This fundraiser was held in conjunction with Kaslo Community Services (KCS) and with the generosity of the Front Street Market, and couldn't have happened without the time, effort and holiday spirit of our students and staff.

Thanks to everyone both here in the JVH school community and in the larger community who volunteered, contributed items, donated money, and shared your holiday spirit. What a wonderful community we live in.

The happiest of the season to you all!
