Superintendent's Report - March 2026
Spring is just around the corner and students and staff alike can feel it coming. There's an energy in schools as projects and field trips ramp up just before spring break starts on March 13.
In this issue of the report, you'll see a burst of learning (Winlaw Elementary and Salmo Elementary), connecting (Canyon-Lister Elementary and L.V. Rogers Secondary), Caring (Brent Kennedy Elementary and four Nelson area schools), cultural celebration (Kootenay River Secondary and district-wide), and career skills development (Adam Robertson Elementary and Blewett Elementary).
I wish all students and families a wonderful spring break and time to enjoy the lighter evenings and take a breath before we return Monday, March 30 for the final three months of the school year.
