Thank you for being interested in who I am and what experiences I bring to our classrooms, school and community.  I am grateful to have landed here in Kaslo 24  years ago.  I have taught in both elementary and secondary at both JV Humphries elementary-secondary and at Jewett Elementary.

I enjoy wearing many hats in our Kindergarten to grade 12 school – Science and Socials 8 teacher, Career Education 9/12 teacher, Foods Program teacher, counsellor, academic advisor and graduation coordinator. I believe our school to be a special place where we put relationships with our students, families, staff and community as a priority.  I enjoy and celebrate my position of working in depth one to one with students;  with connecting our students to members and organizations within our community;  helping students examine their future and realize their potentials and opportunities,  and without a doubt I love the time I spend teaching in the classroom, particularly with our grade 8 cohorts!
